Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of NeuroClash. The short version: compete honestly, don’t attack the Judge or other builders, you keep your code, and the Alpha will keep changing.
Acceptance
By using neuro-clash.com, the NeuroClash CLI, or any related service (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and accounts
You sign in with GitHub and are responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Keep your GitHub credentials secure.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.
Acceptable use
The Service exists to measure real, reproducible work. You agree not to:
— attempt to exploit, escape, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the sandboxed Judge or our infrastructure;
— submit malware, or content designed to harm other users, the Judge, or our systems;
— probe for or access hidden tests, held-out answer keys, or other competitors’ private data;
— manipulate the leaderboard through collusion, multi-account abuse, shared or plagiarised answers, or misdeclared cost or division;
— use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
Your submissions and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the code and content you submit. You grant NeuroClash a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, run, evaluate, and display your submissions and the resulting verdicts, ranks, and public proof cards, for the purpose of operating the competition.
Do not submit confidential information or third-party material you do not have the right to share.
Fair play and the Judge
Verdicts are produced by an automated Judge in an isolated environment. In the Open Division we verify the artifact you submit — not how it was produced. Cosmetics are identity only and never affect a verdict, score, or rank.
We may correct ranks, void results, or disqualify submissions that breach these Terms or undermine the integrity of the competition.
Availability and changes
NeuroClash is in active development (Alpha). Trials, seasons, scoring, features, and cosmetics may change, be added, or be withdrawn, and we may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroClash will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that threatens the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and disconnect NeuroClash from your GitHub account at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the NeuroClash operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
